Start Over. And... Begin. (Part 3)
“You aren’t making any sense.”
“I know…I know.”
“You can’t just be honest with me? Say how you really feel.”
This part always sucks.
“I’m not feeling it anymore.”
“It? What aren’t you feeling anymore.”
“Feelings towards you.”
“…This feels like it’s coming out of nowhere. Is it something I did?”
“No, no! You’re great! I honestly can’t fault you. It’s not you, it’s-”
“Don’t say it.”
“But it’s true. I don’t know why I stopped feeling…I just kinda did. On paper we make sense…You make sense! But,”
“You don’t feel the spark anymore.”
Sigh. I didn’t want to say it.
“I don’t feel the spark anymore.”
“Why not?”
“I can’t give you an explanation. Feelings don’t have explanations.”
“You owe me an explanation. You owe me that much for the time we’ve been together.”
“I can’t.”
“You can.”
“I don’t want to draw this out…”
“Tell me. Then you can leave.”
“Please don’t make me.”
“Tell. Me.”
“…I don’t love you anymore. I’m sorry.”
